Admission

Admissions will be strictly on the basis of merit. 50% of the seats are allotted through the Common Entrance Examination condu-cted by the Govt of Kerala. The remaining 35% Seats are under the management quota and 15% under NRI quota as per Govt. norms. Lateral entry seats are avail-able to diploma holders as per Government notification

CIVIL ENGINEERING

Civil Engineering can be considered as the most versatile, simple and largest branch among all Engineering branches with lot of diversity. Civil Engineering requires constant upgradation of knowledge in the field of advanced building materials, earth-quake resistance structures, construction management, rehabilitation and mainten-ance of structures, ground improvement techniques, solid waste management, rain water harvesting and sustainable develop-ment of environmental protection. To provide quality education in the Civil Engineering branch, the department is equipped with sophisticated instruments, equipments and advanced legal software packages. The department also plays an active role in consultancy for Material Testing including Mix Design, Soil testing in Geo technical Engineering and water quality analysis in Environmental Engineering.

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING

Department of Electronics and Communi-cation Engineering introduces the concept of modern electronic devices, telecomm-unication, computer networking, control systems, microcontrollers etc. The depart-ment offers hands on training to the students to meet the requirements of the industry in well equipped and hi tech labor-atories with state of the art instruments and equipments under the guidance of highly qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty. COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING

The Department provides extensive computing resources for research and education. This includes more than 100 high performance computers with Linux and Windows operating systems. The department also has broadband internet connectivity that is networked throughout the campus. The students are not only trained to achieve excellence in academics but are also encouraged to acquire industrial exposure through industrial visits and projects.
